Rhea Chakraborty conducted yoga classes for inmates in Byculla Jail, reveals her lawyer

Rhea Chakraborty walked free from the Byculla jail on Wednesday, after the Bombay High Court granted her bail. During her 28-days stay in the prison, Rhea reportedly lived like a commoner. While speaking to a news portal, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde stated that when he went to see her condition in the jail, he saw that she was in good spirits. He also revealed that Rhea would yoga classes for herself and her jail inmates. Satish Maneshinde stated that Rhea could not get home food because of the pandemic and that she lived with the inmates as if she was a commoner.

Satish Maneshinde stated that Rhea could not get home food because of the pandemic and that she lived with the inmates as if she was a commoner.

After Rhea was granted bail, Satish Maneshinde had shared in a statement, “We are Delighted by the Order of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court granting bail to Rhea Chakraborty. Truth and Justice have prevailed and ultimately the submissions on facts and law have been accepted by Justice Sarang V Kotwal. The arrest and custody of Rhea was totally unwarranted and beyond the reach of law . The hounding and witch hunt by three central agencies .. the CBI , ED and NCB of Rhea should come to and end . We remain committed to Truth. Satya Meva Jayate.” Showik Chakraborty’s bail plea was rejected by the HC.

The High Court set several conditions before granting Rhea bail. She was asked to furnish Bail amount of one lakh and also told to deposit her passport with the investigating agency. The actress has been told to attend the office of investigating agency on first Monday of every month between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to mark her presence, for a period of six months. While for a period of 10 days after her release, the court has asked Rhea to present herself to the nearest police station.
