Richa Chadha surpasses Huma Qureshi and Swara Bhasker to bag Shakeela biopic

Richa Chadha is one of the most versatile actors in the Hindi film industry. Ever since the actor began her career in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, Richa has only been praised for her extraordinary acting skills and commendable screen presence. Richa has time and again proved her mettle in acting and there’s certainly no denial to the fact.
And as per reports, her ability as a challenging actor has also bagged the role of Shakeela in the biopic being directed by Indrajit Lankesh.While she has signed on for the film, there was some massive competition for the part of the adult film star. Interestingly, Richa surpassed other credible names like Huma Qureshi and Swara Bhaskar who were also in the running, but the ‘Masaan’ actress won the title.
It will be definitely interesting to watch out for Richa as Shakeela.
On the work front, Richa Chadha has some interesting projects in her kitty. She will be also seen in Anubhav Sinha's 'Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai'. Richa’s another project is titled, 'Ghoomketu' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
