Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor faced backlash by some Twitter user after he tweeted that religious beliefs should be confined within four walls and not imposed through any bans.READ: Rishi Kapoor celebrates birthday with Ranbir, Neetu Commenting on various bans, including meat and beef ban, the 63-year-old actor had earlier tweeted, "
My take on bans! Practice your religion within the four walls of your house.Stop imposing your beliefs and wants on others. Live and let live."
The tweet invited wrath of many Twitter trolls.
The actor, however, took their case by reposting their comments on his page before finally commenting, "What I do, eat, drink or pray is none of your business."
He also wrote that he was a "proud" Hindu but someone who also respects other faiths.
"There's a perception that I am anti Hindu. Sad. I am a 'Proud' two time a day praying Hindu. But I respect other faiths too. I just say the truth!"
Earlier actresses Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor,
Sonakshi Sinha and Sunny Leone put up a united front against Twitter trolls, who mocked female celebrities for their views on socio-political issues.
