Roopa Ganguly pays a tribute to ‘beta’ Sushant Singh Rajput, his sister calls it ‘overwhelming’

Last month, actor and politician Roopa Ganguly had penned a tribute for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on social media. Fondly referring to him as beta, the actress expressed that she is waiting for justice to be done to the late actor.

“Today is 14th ,, another 14th has gone ,, I watch your videos,, your performances,, miss you #beta ,, quietly spent the day , remembering you @itsSSR ,, don’t know how many months and years we will have to wait for the #justice for #SushantSinghRajput keep smiling forever..” Roopa Ganguly posted on Twitter.Reacting to it, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister tweeted recently, “You calling @itsSSR(Bhai) #Beta is so heartwarming @RoopaSpeaks Roopa Ji. We are patiently waiting for CBI to tell us the truth. #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput.”
On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra. Confirming the cause of his demise, Dr Sudhir Gupta, chairperson of the medical board constituted to find out the manner and cause of death of Rajput, had told TOI, “It is a case of hanging and death by suicide. There were no injuries on the late actor’s body other than the ones caused by hanging. We did not find any marks of struggle or scuffle on the body and clothes either.” The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is still probing whether the actor died by suicide or there was a conspiracy in his death.
