Rushdie will introduce Nandita’s film

Actress Nandita Das must be quite a happy woman these days.
What with praise coming her way by bucketloads for her directorial first, Firaaq! The film is going places for sure. To start with, it is set for a world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
Anyway, there���s more to it. A sneak preview of the movie is being showcased at the Telluride Film Festival in North America, where films like Lost In Translation, Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Into the Wild, Little Children, Walk The Line and many more began their journey.
