Apte was recently seen in Tisca Chopra's 'Saali Mohabbat'. In the film, her character takes an extreme step after facing betrayal and bad treatment from her husband. But Apte clearly says this should not be seen as passionate love. In an interview with Hindustan Times she said, “That’s the problem. I don’t think that in the film, what happens is something happening out of passionate love.” She explains that it happens because of long injustice and repeated bad behaviour.
