Guzaarish is a super success in itsown way. And I will be hurt if anyone talks like this about Mr Bhansali. In myopinion a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in factmake you more gracious and loving. This is the time one should use to turn evenenemies into friends... just give love, not laugh at others.
By thetime I finish this sentence, I would have already forgiven his words, because Iknow deep inside he only has love for me and this must have been just amomentary lapse of judgment. Will expect a big hug the next time I meethim.”
But Salman Khan isn’t impressed withHrithik’s speech, it seems and he is certainly not in the mood to hug himeither.
The latest is that Sallu has decided to lock horns withHrithik at the box-office. Buoyant with his Dabangg success, Salman hasapparently decided that his next Ready should compete with Hrithik’sZindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Bhushan Kumar is producing Ready. AndSallu, they say, managed to convince Kumar that May 27, 2011, which is the daywhen Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara hits theatres, is the best dayfor Ready to release as well.
While the release date for Zindagi Na MilegiDobara was decided nearly two months ago, Sallu, it seems, met Kumar only afterthe Guzaarish fiasco, which Mumbai Mirror reported on.
Whencontacted, Kumar told Mumbai Mirror, “Haan, maine zaroor Salman ke saathdiscuss kiya tha release date ke bare mein. We met about this lastweek.”
But would it be a good commercial decision for two bigfilms to release on the same date? Replied Bhushan, “Kyun nahin? Is thereany rule that we can’t come on the same date?” We messaged Hrithikto check if he would ‘embrace’ this too but this time he simplysaid, “This does not warrant any reaction”.
