Salman Khan once REACTED to Aishwarya Rai’s physical abuse allegations: 'If I had hit her, she wouldn’t have survived'

Aishwarya’s allegations in 2002

In a 2002 interview with The Times of India, Aishwarya spoke about her difficult past with Salman Khan. She said she had faced emotional, verbal, and physical abuse during their relationship. She also mentioned dealing with his alcohol issues and claimed there was infidelity and disrespect involved.




The actress also revealed that despite going through emotional stress, she continued working as if everything was normal. She said Salman would trouble her and even harm himself when she refused to respond to him. These repeated incidents led her to walk away from the relationship, choosing self-respect and peace.

Salman Khan’s denial

Salman, however, denied the allegations in a past interview with NDTV. He dismissed the claims indirectly, mentioning how a journalist once asked him about it, and he reacted by banging the table—implying that even a strong reaction could be misinterpreted. He did not directly address the accusations made by Aishwarya.



The actor further denied ever being physically violent, suggesting that if he had hit someone in anger, it would have caused serious harm—implying that such claims were untrue. He said he didn’t understand why those allegations were made in the first place.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007. The couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011.
