Saif Ali Khan’s thriller ‘Kartavya’ will premiere on Netflix on May 15;
Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date on Thursday. The film, directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan, features Saif as a police officer caught in a difficult world of duty, danger and personal conflict. Shah Rukh, whose banner backed the film, shared the update on social media along with the first poster reveal.
‘Kartavya’ gets May 15 Netflix premiere
According to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan posted the announcement on Instagram and wrote, “Kartavya ke iss chakravyuh mein, har faisla ek imtihaan hoga (In this labyrinth of duty, every decision will be a test). Watch Kartavya, out 15 May, only on Netflix.”
Netflix also unveiled a new poster of ‘Kartavya’ earlier in the day. The poster shows Saif Ali Khan in a rugged police look. He appears in uniform with bruises on his face, standing alone in a field. The film follows a police officer struggling to balance his responsibilities in a morally complex world. As danger grows around him, he finds himself pulled between his duty, his personal relationships and the emotional cost of his decisions.

‘Kartavya’ explores themes of justice, guilt, power and silence. The story examines how far a person will go in the name of responsibility, especially when every choice carries a price. The film also stars Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Manish Chaudhari and Saurabh Dwivedi in key roles.
Saif was last seen with Jaideep Ahlawat in ‘Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins.’ The action thriller, directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, was also released on Netflix. The actor will next appear in ‘Haiwaan,’ directed by Priyadarshan.
