Shashi Kapoor's grandson Zahaan Prithviraj Kapoor to mark his Bollywood debut with Hansal Mehta

Shashi Kapoor's grandson Zahaan Prithviraj Kapoor is all set to debut in Bollywood with a thriller drama. Son of Kunal Kapoor and Sheena, Zahaan seems keen to keep his family’s legacy in films alive by following them in Bollywood. Produced by Anubhav Sinha, this action-thriller movie is mounted on a grand scale and will be directed by maverick filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The movie will also feature Aditya Rawal in the lead role.Zahaan and Aditya have been groomed by the filmmakers and they trained for several months for their intense characters.

Talking about the cast, Anubhav Sinha said, "Both Zahaan and Aditya bring fresh energy and excitement to their roles. Hansal and I wanted to cast new actors in this human story as we want the audience to feel they are watching characters rather than any star in the film with preconceived notions. We've already started shooting for the film and the hard work these two are putting in is commendable.” While director Hansal Mehta added, "With the subject at hand, I was very keen on doing this film with fresh faces. Both Zahaan and Aditya have been selected on the basis of their talent and potential. The characters they play are very intricate and I'm sure the audience will love them too."
The makers Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar and Hansal Mehta are expected to announce the film’s title soon.
