Shraddha Kapoor, who recently confirmed that she is dating someone amidst rumors of a breakup with Rahul Mody, opened up about hypothetical toxic relationships, commitment issues, and other challenges. Addressing what she would do if confronted with an alcoholic partner like her character in Aashiqui 2, Shraddha said, "I would run for my life."
At The Indian Express event, Shraddha was asked how she would handle a real-life situation involving a partner like Rahul Jaykar from Aashiqui 2. She replied, “In Aashiqui, Rahul Jaikar wasn’t really threatened by my character’s success, but unfortunately, the demon of alcoholism overtook him. But, if I had a character like that in real life, I will run in the other direction for my life. I would be like, ‘Where is the exit? Bhaago!'”

Shraddha also reflected on her recent role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Ranbir Kapoor, where her character avoids living with her partner’s joint family. When asked if she shares that trait, Shraddha laughed and said, “That’s tricky because I live with my family, and I love it. The energy of having your family members around… there is constant party at home, so I don’t know how to answer that. But, I have a very interesting anecdote to share.”

Sharing a personal anecdote, Shraddha revealed, “We have this system in our home. Whenever (anybody in the family) wants their space from each other, we have made DND signs on paper, which we hang out of our room. So, the rules of these DNDs are that you can only knock on the door, or bang it loudly when there is an emergency. If not, you will wait till the sign is off.”

On the work front, Shraddha's most recent film, Stree 2, has propelled her career to new heights, emerging as one of the biggest Indian hits of all time.
