Following his sudden medical emergency, Smriti and Palash’s wedding was postponed indefinitely. So far, neither family has shared any update on a new wedding date.
What led to the health emergency
Smriti Mandhana’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, had earlier confirmed that Shrinivas’s health worsened suddenly while he was having breakfast.
“Today in the morning, when Smriti's father was having breakfast, his health deteriorated. We waited for a bit, thinking he would get fine. But when it deteriorated further, we called for an ambulance and took him to the hospital, and he is under observation,” Mishra shared.
He also added that Smriti is extremely close to her father and immediately decided to postpone the wedding until he fully recovers. “Smriti is clear — she wants to see her father well and then get married,” he said.
