Soha’s Olympic woes
Soha says that it is a great honour to be selected to be a torchbearer this year and it’s only due to some personal reasons that she is unable to participate in it.
After Bhaichung Bhutia announced his decision not to run with the torch this year, Aamir Khan wrote his reasons for participating in the run on his blog.
When we asked the actress whether or not she would be running with the torch, she replied, ���The Dalai Lama supports the Beijing Olympics and is against the violence marring the torch relay, so who am I? I am very insignificant. I have huge respect for the Olympic Games and the torch relay. I believe sports and politics should be kept apart. It is a great honour to be selected to be a torchbearer this year and it���s only due to some very strong personal reasons that I am unable to participate in it. I support the relay but I am not running it this year.���
