Sonam and Ayushmann don the Gurgaon uniform

When in Gurgaon, do as the Gurgaonwaasis do. So slip on the slim pants, designer blazer and dress shoes – and for the ladies, sleek, straight hair and geek glasses – and you’re ready to flaunt your corporate chic.
That’s what Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana have been doing as they take a leaf out of Gurgaon’s dress book and shoot for their upcoming film. The actors shot in Cybercity’s compound on Saturday and Sunday, and will shoot in the city till March 20.Sonam, Ayushmann and Rishi Kapoor have a one month shoot schedule in Delhi-NCR, the major chunk of which will be shot in Gurgaon. The romantic comedy, directed by Nupur Asthana (who earlier directed Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge), shows Sonam and Ayushmann, whose characters are called Mayera and Mohit, as struggling lovers, and Rishi plays Sonam’s dad in the film.
The film’s unit also shot at India Gate and Rajpath in Delhi. While the capital has steadily become the focal point for film shootings for its typical ambience, does this look like the start of Gurgaon becoming the preferred destination when it comes to films that deal with stories about the urban, office-going youngster? Only time will tell, but we like this development just as much!
