Sonu Sood who is known for his humanitarian work, has often come out in support of local businesses from across the country. In the latest, he took to his Instagram handle and dropped a video from
Punjab as he promoted the local process of jaggery making.
In the video, Sonu is seen taking fans through the process of jaggery (gur) making in a local shop in Punjab.
He first shared that he is at a popular jaggery shop in Punjab and directed towards heaps of sugarcane which were being crushed for its juice. Then he further proceeds to show around how the juice is turned into jaggery at multiple steps.
Sharing the video, he wrote in the caption, “Let's make some Jaggery. Beautiful mornings in Punjab. Support small-scale businesses, watch the process, cheer their passion. Be the first one to buy their products and promote their ideas."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu has been roped in to star in the action thriller '
Fateh' directed by Abhinandan Gupta. Touted to be inspired by real-life incidents, the film will feature him pulling off high-octane action sequences in a cinematic universe.
Talking about the film, Sonu said, "The story piqued my interest. It is one of the most crucial subjects that need our attention. As soon as I read the script, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I am extremely excited to bring this thought-provoking story to the audience."
