SS Rajamouli showers praise on 'Brahmastra'; says he saw a vision in Ayan Mukerji’s narration and wanted to support it

SS Rajamouli, who is presenting Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film, ‘Brahmastra’, recently showered praise on the fantasy drama. The ace filmmaker stated that creating a world like that is not easy.At a recent promotional event for the film, Rajamouli said that creating a world that Ayan has created is not easy. He has created a power which still has some limits. He provided the scope to create a bigger villain and also created a scope for the struggle for good to win over evil. According to the ace director, it is not a fairy tale but a commercial way of telling a story. He added that the film also says that love is the strongest of all astras and that is what he likes about ‘Brahmastra’.Rajamouli also went on to add that Ayan made sure that among all the astras, including Vanara Astra, Agni Astra, Jalastra and Brahmastra – love is the strongest. He also added that Ayan is not just telling this fact in dialogues, but he made sure that his point comes across. That love will win over everything.Rajamouli stated that he gave five years of his life to ‘Baahubali 2’. Ayan gave 10 years of his life for a vision he believed in. He saw vision in Ayan's narration, and wanted to support it, Rajamouli concluded.‘Brahmastra’ stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. It also features actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles.
