Tahir Raj Bhasin is all set to enact the 'Little Master'
Sunil Gavaskar on-screen in the upcoming Kabir Khan's directorial '83'. The actor will play the legendary cricketer on-screen in the upcoming
Ranveer Singh starrer that will narrate the story of India lifting its first cricket world cup in 1983 under the captaincy of
Kapil Dev.
In an interview with Zoom, Tahir revealed that it has been an intimidating experience for him when he met the legendary cricketer for the first time.
Speaking about his first experience of meeting with the former cricketer, the actor says he thinks that the legend has a lot of swag and confidence even at this age.
Tahir also revealed the one important advice from Gavaskar that he thinks will stay with him long for his life. Bhasin said that the cricketer revealed to him that when he used to play opposite the West Indies, which was the toughest team at that point and the players were all 6'5 and 6'4 but he was 5'5, he had to project that he was very confident.
The legendary cricketer also revealed the secret behind his famous walks that he used to take while walking into the middle of the field. Gavaskar said while he was opening for India and when he used to walk on the field, he used to think that he is the king of that field.
Bhasin had earlier taken to his social media handles to share his experience of meeting the legendary cricketer for the first time.
The film '83 would be the first-ever trilingual release for both, Ranveer Singh and director Kabir Khan in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie is slated to hit the screens on 10 April 2020.
