Taapsee Pannu took home this one souvenir from the sets of Shabaash Mithu; Here’s why

Time and again, Taapsee Pannu has shared about her preparation for her next ‘Shabaash Mithu’ which has increased the anticipation for the film. With the trailer dropped today, one can say, Taapsee has surely essayed her role of cricketer Mithali Raj with conviction.
While speaking about the film, the actress revealed the one souvenir she took home from the sets of the film.In an interview with India Today, the actress shared, that she took the jersey back home. She shared that it’s an overwhelming feeling to see India written on your jersey and it is because she doesn't think she has done anything to earn it.

Mithali Raj, who is known for her record-breaking 23-year-long career in international cricket, made over 10000 runs in ODI. The film follows her journey of becoming a legendary cricketer and an inspiration to billions of girls and women across the world. The film is a tribute to the recently retired icon!
Helmed by Srijit Mukherji, the film is all set to hit the screens on July 15, 2022.
