Tara is happy

Tara is happy
Tara Sharma’s been busy shooting as well as enjoying married life.
Contradiction? Well, actually the truth is that I havebeen shooting all through these two years and now have a whole list of filmslined up for release, reveals the actress. Tara admits that although sheis a patient person, it can get frustrating for films to release. Thewaiting period can get quite frustrating, she says but adds,Khosla Ka Ghosla too released after some delay but since it was a bighit, it was worth the wait. Im a positive person, so I try not to worrymyself over these things. It certainly seems like Tara istrying to make up for her absence from the big screen all this time. Next up forrelease is a dark comedy, an out-and-out comedy caper, a socially relevant filmand even a horror! Ya theres a whole range out there, saysTara with a smile. She will be seen in Maharathi, which is a dark comedy thatalso co-stars Boman Irani, Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal. Then Im also in Mumbai Cutting as part of RituparnoGhoshs story. Dulha Mil Gaya is a completely commercial movie while AyFansa is a full-on comedy with Anuuj Sawhney.
I play a pregnant woman in Suno Nawhich is a film with a social message. Two films which Im hoping willrelease soon are The Whisperers with Rahul Bose and Amavas which is a horrorfilm, she reels off. Tara will also be seen in Karan Joharproductions untitled film which will be directed by Renzil DSilva. Its a small but good role in a great script, she saysexcitedly. Up next is also a film directed by the script writer of Bheja Fry forwhich Tara might have to chop those long lovely tresses! Only if I havethe guts for it! she laughs. It does seem like a greatline-up of films but isnt Tara apprehensive about audiences reaction, after all, there is something like out of sight, out of mind?Fortunately for me, out of the few films Ive done, half of themhave been big hits like Masti, Page 3 and Khosla Ka Ghosla. People still come upto me and ask what I have been doing. So I dont think the length of timeis that big an issue, says Tara. Apart from these films, Tarahas also been involved with Raven, a kids program in the UK where sheplays the part of an Indian princess. The actress, whos married to adfilm producer Roopak Saluja, says shes enjoying married life.Hes extremely encouraging about my work. Since our professions areinter-related, he understands my timings. Also, since I was part of thecorporate world before joining films, I understand his work as well, sheadds. For Tara, what matters ultimately is that she finds happinessin what she does. When one talks of success, it can mean so many thingsto so many people. For me, success also means having a great husband and a goodfamily life. That stability is also a big part of success. The energy you put ingood relationships forms part of your happiness, she says.
