Tara Sutaria wants to pursue international projects

With a much-talked about debut in ‘

Student of The Year 2

’ and two plum projects already in her kitty, Tara Sutaria is enjoying every bit of the limelight. The young actress, who was seen in the film along with Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday, recently revealed that doing Hindi films was never on the agenda. Rather, Tara was keen to act in Hollywood films, and had even auditioned for the role of Princess Jasmine in the recently released ‘

Aladdin

’, which stars Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud. Tara had spent some time in London, auditioning for the part and attending workshops but things didn’t work out. However, just after that she was offered SOTY2 and she quickly signed that film.
In a recent interview, Tara said that with a lot of crossover happening, she was looking forward to acting in international films as well and keeping herself up-to-date with all upcoming projects and auditions. She said that she was hoping to be a part of an international project next year. While she hopes to pursue her acting ambitions in the West, Tara’s focus at the moment is to give her full attention to her Hindi films, which include ‘Marjaavaan’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra, and the Hindi remake of the Telugu flick ‘RX100’ opposite Ahan Shetty.
