This Diwali will be blue

Picture this ��� three Bollywood hunks, one hot actress, all in swimwear, playing with exotic marine life underwater...
This is a song from Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd���s Diwali release Blue, an underwater action and adventure thriller. The theme song goes on air from today. Shot in the breathtaking Bahamas, it is picturised on Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan and is a prelude to the danger and deadly secrets of the dark depths of the ocean.
The song has the men going full throttle with their beach toys, ripping through the waves, diving for the ocean floor and even doing somersaults on water... and then, more breath-taking perhaps, the luscious Lara in a bikini. It also takes you deep under the blue waters where the stars play with sea turtles, sting rays and lobsters. For which they had to take extensive training as it involved a lot of free diving.
Talking about the challenges of shooting underwater, director Anthony D���Souza said, ���It was a huge challenge due to several reasons. We could only communicate through sign language. And we had to find the best possible spot where all the beautiful creatures were around. Then, there was limited control over lighting. We were able to achieve this feat thanks to the expert cinematographers and the enthusiasm and dedication of the stars!���
The underwater jet scooters used in the song are Sea Bobs, imported from Germany and reckoned to be the ultimate machines for such adventure sports underwater. Interestingly, most of the video was shot impromptu when the stars were asked to have some fun under the blue. Except, of course, the gorgeous Lara sizzling in a pink bikini as she slithers through bubble rings. Anthony explained, ���We learnt that dolphins play by releasing bubbles in the form of rings that keep increasing in size due to the water pressure. We adapted the idea and the actors had a blast.���
