'Tumbbad' first look: Sohum Shah's upcoming epic fantasy thriller is set to unravel an age-old secret

Director-Producer Aanand L Rai is all set to join hands with filmmaker Sohum Shah for an upcoming epic fantasy titled 'Tumbbad'. The makers released a promo of the film on Wednesday and it is sure to leave you intrigued. Going by the promo, we can say that 'Tumbbad' appears to be a genre-defining and visually stunning film.

Talking about deciding to produce the film, Aanand revealed, “It was a very instinctive decision.The moment I saw the film, I wanted to be associated with it. I am excited,” he says, adding that he’d gone into the screening with no pre-conceived notions and enjoyed the intentions behind each scene in the story, eventually deciding to follow his gut.
'Tumbbad' is a horror-mystery-thriller set in colonial India and featuring a non-liner narrative with fantasy elements and a lush, stylised look. The film is set to release on October 12.
