Udita Goswami, who has been scripting a movie, wants to cast Naseeruddin Shah opposite herself.
This piece of information certainly comes as a surprise. Imagine the swing from a serial kisser Emraan Hashmi to a serious actor, Naseeruddin Shah! Goswami is best remembered for Paap and Zeher, has finished shooting for Diary of a Butterfly. She confirms, “I just write my scenes keeping Naseer in mind and no one else.He's perfect for the role. I just hope he likes the final output when the script is ready.” We wonder if Udita’s latest decision has come in the wake of the fact that it’s safe to tag along with the most revered actors when your career is on a downward graph. In case the movie dies a silent death at the box office, it will draw her laurels from the critics at least.
