Using a financial metaphor, he said, “When the market is down, an investor doesn’t put in money. This is that kind of time—don’t invest in love.”The actor also spoke about how relationships are no longer simple. He pointed to shocking real-life stories where marriages have turned violent, either due to extramarital ties or family disputes. Ranvir added that today’s social dynamics make it harder for men to question their partners’ choices, quipping, “These days, a wife can say her ex-boyfriend is also family, and ten people will support her.”Ranvir’s own history with relationships adds depth to his perspective. He was once in a long-term relationship with actress Pooja Bhatt before eventually parting ways. Later, he married Konkona Sen Sharma in 2010, and the couple welcomed a son, Haroon, in 2011.
