'Uri: The Surgical Strike' will be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam

Post the humongous success at the box office, the first hit of 2019 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is going to be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The movie is running successfully at the box office and is all set to enter the 100 crore club.

The producer of 'Uri', Ronnie Screwvala and the entire team of RSVP have got calls from the many producers of South who aspire to adapt the film in their language and who wish to remake the film. Owing to which the rights of the film have been sold at a higher price.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is based on the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian army in 2016. Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and debutante Mohit Raina. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and it has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
