Veteran actor Manoj Kumar admitted to hospital
Veteran actor Manoj Kumar has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
MUMBAI: Veteran actor Manoj Kumar has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The 75 year old actor who has not been keeping well for some time was brought to the hospital about four days ago. A source said, "he is stable now and is in the ward."
Manoj Kumar has to his credit 55 films as an actor and 7 films as director. Some of his films are Shaheed, Upkaar, Hariyali Aur Raasta, Do Badan, Purab Aur Paschim, Kranti and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan.
He is known for acting in and directing films with patriotic themes, and has been given the nickname "Bhaarat Kumar". In 1992, he was honoured with the Padmashri.
