Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Hollywood film gets a thumbs up

Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Broken Horses has some high-profile fans. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Ramakanta Panda, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan and Hollywood directors James Cameron and Alfonso Cuaron have endorsed it. After all, Broken Horses is the first Hollywood film to be written, produced and directed by an Indian!
Set in the shadows of the US-Mexico border gang wars, the film, featuring Vincent D’Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette and Maria Valverde, is an epic thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence.Based on an original story by Chopra, it is written by him and Abhijat Joshi.

A team of sound Hollywood technicians have also lent their might to the project.

Broken Horses, co-presented by Reliance Entertainment and marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios in India, releases today.
