Vrajesh Hirjee signs his second Gujarati film

Vrajesh Hirjee, who made a foray into Gujarati cinema with Happy Familyy Pvt Ltd recently, has signed his second venture in the same language. Titled Maare Dhirubhai Ambani Banvu Chhe, the film has the actor playing the central character who wants get rich quickly, but fails miserably.

About his decision to do Gujarati cinema, Vrajesh says, “Gujarati cinema has been lagging behind when it comes to creativity.But with The Good Road going to the Oscars, things seem to be looking up. As for Happy Familyy... it gave me a chance to explore new avenues.”

The actor, who recently debuted as a stand-up comic, is also kicked about his debut as a writer. “The shooting of the film for which I am writing the script, should start sometime in January,” he adds.
