Watch: Huma Qureshi is all praise for Babita Phogat for her apt reply to 'Tauji' telling women to stay home

Huma Qureshi recently lauded wrestler Babita Phogat for giving an apt reply to the viral video of a man who is advising women to stay at home. The man in the video is actually an actor who is playing the character of an orthodox sarpanch in a TV show.

The video was originally posted by Babita. Huma shared it on her Instagram handle and captioned it, ‘Lately, this Tauji has been getting a lot of attention on the internet.I believe such people shouldn't get any recognition but they certainly deserve a reply and @babitaphogatofficial gave him a perfect one. We are proud of you, Babita Ji! #TaujiBasKaro because #TasksSeeNoGender’

In the video, the actor, dressed in an all-white attire along with a headgear, is heard saying, ‘Once women step out of the house they get out of hand. So take my advice and keep the honour of the house inside.’
Giving an apt reply to the man in the video, Babita said, "You think you have said something amazing? Now listen to me. Girls are no less than anyone. Don't think that I am speaking out of place but both girls and boys know how to maintain the honour of the house. Not even a kid has such a small ideology. Tau I think your thoughts are harmful to society.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Huma will be seen in ‘Bell Bottom’ which is all set to hit the theatres on August 19. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and Lara Dutta in lead roles.
