The remnants of the former LET with elements of Huji which may be the ones who orchestrated this Mumbai blasts need to be flushed out urgently, says Mahesh Bhatt Some said the Mumbai blasts happened on
Ajmal Kasab's birthday. Some disagreed. But the discontent remains among celebs and commoners alike regarding the prolonged Kasab trial.
On being asked if there is any point in wasting so much of money on the Kasab trial any longer, Mahesh Bhatt says, "We certainly need to fast-track Kasab's trial.
The nation needs a sense of closure to a tragedy of the magnitude of 26/11."
In the context of July 13's blasts in Mumbai, does Bhatt think that India has been lazy in punishing terrorists, especially when so much of proof is available on camera against Kasab? Says Bhatt, "The remnants of the former LET with elements of Huji which may be the ones who orchestrated this attack need to be flushed out urgently. The due process of law has to be followed. Fast track the process by all means. You can't bypass it."
