When Dia Mirza’s personal diary got her in trouble

In this digital age, hardly anyone maintains a personal diary. So, it comes as a surprise that Dia Mirza still pens her thoughts and chronicles her day-to-day life in a journal. The actress, who has been following the habit since her childhood days, tells us that it got her into trouble as a teenager. She recollects, “I was very quiet and shy in my early childhood days.I started opening up after I began taking part in drama and elocution competitions in the later stage of my school days. This was the time when I started maintaining a personal diary.” Elaborating how the diary proved to be troublesome for her, she says, “I would write down my confessions and for my mom, the only way to reach my mind and thoughts was through these pages. My mother would read them and react (laughs!). I guess all moms did that with their kids.”
