When Malaika Arora's son Arhaan shared how she called him for emotional support: 'You were nervous, but you gave such a good performance'

Earlier this year, Malaika Arora appeared on her son Arhaan Khan’s debut vodcast, 'Dumb Biryani', and the mother-son duo, known for their camaraderie, had some tea to spill from their personal lives.

During the second episode of the vodcast, Malaika and Arhaan shared a light-hearted yet intimate conversation. At one point, Malaika asked Arhaan, "What is your favorite memory of me or your least favorite?" Arhaan humorously recalled a moment when his mother called him for emotional support during a stand-up comedy performance on her OTT reality show, 'Moving In With Malaika'. The young Khan shared, “I was taking a sh*t in college, and you called me up because you were nervous. But you went on to give such a good performance.”

The light banter didn’t stop there. Arhaan cheekily questioned his mother about her wedding plans, asking for a date, venue, and details. Malaika, who ended her marriage with Arbaaz Khan after 19 years and is currently in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor, playfully dodged the question, saying, "I’m better off eating a mirchi. I don’t have an answer."


Despite the challenges she faced as a single mother, Malaika has been open about her journey. In an old interview with Pinkvilla, she admitted that while she was vulnerable, she took each day as it came, balancing her responsibilities as a working mother.

Malaika is currently dealing with her father Anil Mehta’s tragic loss. He reportedly died by suicide yesterday (September 11), and the police investigation is currently underway.
