During the fifth season of Karan Johar's chat show, during a rapid fire round when Varun appeared on the show, he was asked, "What do the following have that you don’t?” Karan then took Shahid Kapoor's name and Varun responded, "He has a baby girl. I don’t want his baby girl. I want my own.”
