'YSZ seems different, daring,' says trade
The rich-in content film is suddenly getting big mileage. After the runaway success of Love, Sex Aur Dhoka, Tere Bin Laden, Phas Gaya Re Obama, Udaan, and No One Killed Jessica; Prakash Jha and Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi is creating the required ripples within the trade and outside.
Says Taran Adarsh, “When you have two talented names like Prakash and Sudhir involved with a film; that has a title like Yeh Saali Zindagi, be sure that the film will be very interesting. These two filmmakers have always concentrated on story first and stars second. For them content is the rockstar.”
Taran also adds, “The underdogs are getting their due. People want to see films that are different and daring. YSZ promises to be both.”
He also feels that having lead actors like Irrfan Khan and Chitrangda Singh is an asset. Says Taran, “Irrfan has not been typecast. This internationally renowned actor is very exciting because his choice of movies is so exciting. As for Chitrangda, well she is not only a sensational looker, she is also a fabulous actor. From her first movie she has continuously raised the bar. Getting to see her in a sexy avatar is an added bonus.”
Dialogues that will get ceetis
Sudhir Mishra’s film also has some really catchy dialogues written by Manu Rishi. Read on...
Irrfan who loves Chitrangada but has no hope of getting her to love him back describes his predicament saying, “Log sunenga to kya kahenga; ashiqui ke chakkar mei mar gaya aur laundiya bhi nahi miley.”
