Zareen Khan, known for her debut in ‘Veer’, recently shared a heartfelt update about her mother’s recovery. Taking to social media, the actress informed fans that her mother has been moved out of the ICU. However, she clarified that her mother is still admitted to the hospital and continues to receive medical care. The update brought a sense of relief to her followers who have been concerned about her family’s well-being.
In her Instagram Stories, Zareen wrote, “Mom's out of the ICU...but still in the hospital. Please continue keeping her in your duas/ prayers. Much needed (sic),” along with a folded hands emoji. The message reflected both gratitude and hope as she requested continued prayers from her InstaFam.
An emotional note on her Islamic birthday
Earlier, on February 23, the ‘Housefull 2’ actor had penned an emotional message coinciding with her Islamic birthday on the fifth day of Ramadan. She revealed that her mother was hospitalised at the time, which changed her birthday plans entirely. She shared, “It's the 5th of Ramadan today which is my Islamic Birthday. Those who know me closely know how much I love my Birthdays. This year too I had plans of celebrating this one in a certain way but unfortunately that's not going to happen as my Mom is hospitalized.”
Adding to the note, she appealed to her followers, saying, “I would request everyone of you to keep my Mom in your prayers as that's going to be the greatest gift for me.” Her words struck an emotional chord with fans who flooded her page with supportive messages.
A similar health scare last year
This is not the first time the ‘Hate Story 3’ star has spoken about her mother’s health concerns. In October last year, she also informed fans about a hospitalisation. Thankfully, at that time, her mother’s condition improved quickly and she was discharged soon after. Zareen had posted a picture from the hospital and later updated everyone with positive news. She wrote, “Mom's much better (evil eye emoji) Taking her home today from the hospital. Big Thanks to each and every one of you who sent good wishes and prayers fr her...means the world to me,” accompanied by folded hands and heart emojis.
On the work front, Zareen made her debut in the short drama platform with 'Phir Se Restart'. Her last major acting role was in the 2021 film 'Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele', where she played a lead role. She has appeared in Punjabi films like 'Daaka' and 'Jatt James Bond'.
