‘Jagga Jasoos’ director Anurag Basu has been hosting Saraswati puja for many years now and his good friend Ranbir Kapoor has been a constant fixture at the ceremony. Ever since the two collaborated on ‘Barfi’ in 2012, RK Jr has been spotted at Anurag’s Saraswati puja every year. So, when the actor skipped the function this year, a few eyebrows were raised. Interestingly, Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif was seen at the puja this year and stayed on for quite some time. Kat’s presence at the function led to speculation that Ranbir had given it a miss to avoid crossing paths with his former flame. However, there is no truth to these rumours. According to reports, the actor was busy shooting for the Dutt biopic with Rajkumar Hirani and hence could not make it to the function.

Much recently, we told you how Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra parted ways and aren't a couple any more. While some believed it to be rumours, others vouched for the fact that both Sid and Alia wanted to concentrate on their respective careers and hence, have taken a break. However, as per the latest report on a web portal, Alia has confirmed that she and Sid aren't a couple anymore and it was none other than her 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' co-star Varun Dhawan who she confided in. As per the reports, Varun would always tease Alia on the sets by Sid's name, and Alia would either smile or laugh it off, but this time, when Varun teased her again, she got miffed, much to Varun's dismay. A visibly upset Alia asked Varun not to tease her by Sid's name as they were not together anymore. Varun was quite shocked and upset to know about this development in Alia's love life and being a good friend and gentleman he is, he didn't tease Alia again by Sid's name.

There is no doubt that Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, who started their journey as actors together with 'Student of The Year', have continued to remain one of the most loved couples of Bollywood, but their fans might not be happy to know that their cute love story has come to an end. As per reports, Alia and Sidharth has called it quits, albeit temporarily, as both the actors want to seriously focus on their respective careers and don't want their professional lives to suffer in the bargain. Reportedly, Sid and Alia had started maintaining distance during the Dream Team tour which they were part of and would only engage in formal talks. Sid, after going through a box office dud in 'Baar Baar Dekho', now wants to invest all his energies in taking right career decisions and doesn't want his personal life and his affair with Alia to keep him in the news and headlines. Alia too has two important films to divert her energies to – 'Dear Zindagi' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' – and has decided to dedicate herself completely to her work for now. Although the two ex-lovebirds remain cordial, reports suggest they are not a couple anymore.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande's breakup rumours came as a shock, especially since the duo had publicly announced that they were going to tie the knot soon. While several reports touted SSR's closeness to his co-star Kriti Sanon as the reason for the breakup, others claimed that it was Ankita's clingy ways that caused the split. While the duo didn't officially confirm the split, fans of the couple were hoping for a reconciliation between the former love birds. However, in a bid to end speculations, Sushant took to his official Twitter account to confirm the breakup. He tweeted, "Neither she was an alcoholic nor I am a womaniser . But now the actor is back in town and has found himself a new pad on the 12th floor of Little Heights Apartments on Hill Road, Bandra. SSR threw a housewarming party last night. The guest list comprised of Karan Johar, Krishika Lulla, Homi and Anaita Adajania, Varun Sharma, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena, and his rumoured girlfriend Kriti Sanon. The party reportedly went on till wee hours of the morning.

Rumours are part and parcel of actors' lives, but certain rumours can really hurt and that's what seems to have happened with Shilpa Shetty, who is fuming after rumours of her divorce with hubby Raj Kundra started doing the rounds. Raj was said to have shifted base to his office and hadn't gone back home for days at a stretch and that's what had triggered the rumours of supposed rift between the couple. The report quotes the source as saying, “Ankita does have a drinking problem and Sushant had been getting a bit too close for comfort with females, some of who are even celebrities.” The source further opened up about a party at a filmmaker's house, where all hell broke loose and Sushant and Ankita ended up having a major showdown. The source was quoted as saying, "It was one helluva fight, very ugly, very crass. The two just didn’t stop, especially Ankita whose temper had hit the ceiling.” The duo was allegedly drunk at the party, and Ankita walked in on Sushant trying to get too friendly with a “very famous female celeb,” and this led to Ankita abusing the 'Kai Po Che' actor using some of the choicest Hindi expletives. And the relationship went downhill from there, concluded the source in the report.

With such contradicting statements and the fact that a friend has hinted that the break-up rumours could be a PR gimmick for Sushant's upcoming MS Dhoni biopic, we do not know what to believe.

Quoting a source the report suggests that Rao was okay with the trailer of the film but with the passage of time, he became very uncomfortable about his girlfriend's sexy avatar. The report also suggested that they both had an ugly spat recently in the lobby of their Oshiwara residence. However, the report quoted Rajkumar Rao saying that he is proud of her and loves her and they are not separating. We wish that is the truth!

After a long silence on their part, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan have finally spoken up about their separation alleging that their silence has been misinterpreted as weakness. In a joint statement given to DNA, the couple said that they have separated and are on a break as of now. The duo has also rubbished all rumours surrounding Malaika’s alleged affair to a businessman and her adjustment issues in the Khan family, stating that these rumours are only a means of defamation.
