Why Shahid Kapoor cannot be Shahrukh?

Shahid Kapoor is the complete package for a romantic hero, but even after having charismatic looks, an innocent smile, the actor couldn’t create a place for himself in Bollywood. When the actor entered Bollywood with Ishq Vishk, he grabbed eyeballs with his charming persona and also received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. However, later the journey wasn’t easy for the actor. In fact, the actor believes that he is underrated and needs some luck.

Like Shahrukh, Shahid’s films too have great music which is important for a hit masala Bollywood flick. Songs from Mausam, Kaminey, Teri Meri Kahaani,Phata Poster Nikla Hero created a new record in the music world, but didn’t help the film to pull audiences. SRK’s dance moves are popular and he has created a style for himself in Bollywood. Where as, Shahid is perfect and hard-working when it comes to dance and is also termed as one of the best dancers of Bollywood. However, Shahid is still struggling to deliver a hit. It will be worth seeing whether Prabhudeva, who recreated Salman and Akshay’s career in Bollywood will be able to help Shasha get a hit.

Just the way Shahrukh worked with top actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi and Juhi Chawla in the beginning of his career, even Shahid got a chance to work with Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra. But even their on-screen chemistry couldn’t create wonders for the actor. 

Shahid Kapoor has been compared to Shahrukh Khan right from the time he entered Bollywood. However, lady luck has not shined for Sasha. The actor worked with the best directors but has been unfortunate at the Box Office. He worked with directors like Rajkumar Santoshi, Kunal Kohli, Sooraj R. Barjatya, but didn’t witness stardom after giving his best. His film Jab We Met directed by Imtiaz Ali created history at the Box Office, but Kareena Kapoor Khan walked away with the cake.
