Remembering Bela Bose

Music lovers were in for a gala treat on a recent evening at The Basement, Hotel Samilton. Served piping hot were Anjan Dutt numbers that most have grown up on.
And paying a tribute to the singer-actor-director were Kaushiq and Prasanta from Prithibi, Chhotu from Saturday Night Blues, Rajarshi from Insomnia, Rajkumar, Arko and Shamik from Strange Factory and Shatrujit from Catch 22.Featured was also an Anjan Dutt fan, SK Rudra.
Dutt was elated with the performance. Said Rajkumar, “Anjanda took to the stage and said, ‘These days, I don’t get to pen good lyrics. But after the show, I realized that whatever I have written is no less’.” The crowd couldn’t agree more.
