College Paadam… by Rahul, Megha and Santosh starts off proceedings in Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, in a peppy manner that should appeal to the youth. This one’s a typical ‘college introduction’ type of song. G V Prakash and Saindhavi team up for Yaarivano… that sounds like one of the tunes that could’ve easily made it to the tracklist of GV’s Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal.While there are slight similarities to the Oru Murai… number in terms of song structure and sounding, this one’s a duet that should do well on the radio stations. STR, a routine singer for other composers as well, gets groovy withKalaaipom…, a foot-tapping number. While the lyrics don’t strike a chord, it should appeal to front-benchers due to its fast nature. Shalmalai Kholgade gets a decent tune in Raja Raja… but the old-fashioned sounds make you wonder how they’d fit a song of this nature in the film. The album ends on an energetic note with Sony Kakkar’s Malgova…, a song that will be a perfect fit as an item number. Naan Rajavaga Pogiren is an average effort from the team.
