Most members of this line-up previously played together as the hugely-successful Blood & Iron, which had opened for Swedish Power Metal band Hammerfall in 2010. “We decided to form a new line up along with Anshuman and Pharez and explore a new sound,” explains Vivin, adding that with the new members came the powerful sound and a wave of pure-aggressive music.
Recognized for their intensely powered grooves and smooth vocals, the band now delivers a unique sound, which is a collaboration of the individual band members and their influences. “Thus bringing out a sound ranging from Power to Epic to Symphonic to Thrash to Speed to Melodic to Death to Progressive and absolute Heavy Metal,” the band members describe their music.
After winning a popular band hunt competition, Wolf’s Lair has been playing on various stages across the country. “We have a consistently supportive fan base,” says Vivin, further adding that it’s important for any band to have a steady line-up and support for their sound. At the end of the day, this is a band with the energy and the adrenalin-pumping music. There’s no metal without the headbangers, right?
