Singer Anushka Manchanda was roped in to sing at the closing ceremony of the Celebrity Cricket League held in Hyderabad on Sunday, June 12.
The singer was pretty kicked about performing at the ceremony. However due to time mismanagement Anushka could not complete the second set which was scheduled during the strategic time-out of the Karnataka team.

In fact, Anushka was interrupted during the song, forcing her to abandon it midway. The singer had planned to sing the runaway Telugu hit ‘Ringa Ringa’. “It’s such a big song here in Hyderabad. I think at the end of my set, I’m gonna play it for everyone to dance to,” confirmed the singer.
But that could not happen due to the shortage of time. “Can’t believe I sang in Tamil and Hindi to a Telugu crowd, and no Telugu! How pissing off (sic),” tweeted the singer. Voicing her disappointment she said. “I was saving it for the end! When I sang ‘Ringa Ringa’ at sound-check, the few people in the stadium were going nuts! And I had to cut it out,” tweeted Anushka.
Anushka performed at the CCL before the final match between Karnataka Bulldozers and Chennai Rhinos while southern sizzler Shriya Saran danced during the innings breaks.
