Arif Lohar and Rahat Fateh Ali songs in Jatt James Bond

Apart from Gippy Grewal and Sunidhi Chauhan, singing stalwarts of Pakistan— Arif Lohar and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan—have lent their voices for the songs of Punjabi film Jatt James Bond.
The title of the movie, which according to the lead actor Gippy is inspired by an e-mail id of a Punjabi guy, is making everyone inquisitive. While the movie will hit the theatres this month, the actors—Gippy and Zarine are already excited.

During the launch of music in Chandigarh they said it’s going to be one rocking movie where everyone’s a James Bond.

The movie stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Vindu Dara Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Sardar Sohi, Avtar Gill etc, which has a great combination of songs. “There are eight tracks in the movie,” said Gippy. Also, for Zarine Khan, who is foraying into the Punjabi industry, it has been a great learning experience. Regarding speaking Punjabi she said, “It has not been an issue and I was quite comfortable speaking it.”
Talking about the music, music director of the film Jatinder Shah said, “We have tried to create a balance with songs. And all the songs are unique for the fact they fit in all the situations.” Ari Lohar has sung Jis Tan Ny Lagdi Aye and Ek Jugni, Do Jugni, Teen songs in the movie, which are written by SM Sadiq.
Jatt James Bond is a rustic story based on a novel inspired by real life and the screenplay is also very fresh and rejuvenating. “Having the ability to compete with any Bollywood movie, it has come like a ray of hope for the Punjabi industry and we are sure that we have made a wholesome entertainer that the people will fall in love with. So this is a movie for all,” added producer Gurdeep Dhillon.
