‘Bam Bhole’ singer Viruss overwhelmed with emotions over the success of the song

When he got a call from Akshay Kumar’s office, saying that the superstar liked his song and wants to incorporate the same into his movie ‘Laxmii’, singer-rapper Viruss was, quite naturally, taken by surprise and excited about the opportunity.
And now that the song – the original version of which was uploaded on a video-sharing platform back in 2017 – has finally made its way into mainstream cinema, Viruss couldn’t be more proud.“Definitely, everybody was excited about the song. When we came to know that Akshay paaji and the makers of ‘Laxmii’ wanted to add the song to the movie, we were really excited. The song was already big on a video-sharing platform, and they heard the song and loved it. They let us know that they wanted to add more energy to the song as per the situation in the movie and that is where our team joined in and were excited and we did added a few elements to the existing song – we added drums and also some new lyrics to the song – and I think everybody's loving the final output. Of course, Akshay paaji has performed it really well. So it feels great (chuckles!),” said the singer in a video interview with Bombay Times.
