Munna Badnaam Hua singer Mamta Sharma: Wajid bhai was like a brother

Singer Mamta Sharma has sung some of the latest chartbuster songs of the composer duo Sajid-Wajid. Right from 'Fevicol Se' ( a duet with Wajid) to 'Munna Badnaam Hua', 'Anarkali Disco Chali', 'Pandeyji Seeti' among others.
She says, “He was like a big brother, a mentor, and a guide to me. For all my issues he was always there for me. I always used to look up to Wajid bhai.”
One of the best parts of the relationship Mamta had with Wajid was that he would always give her good advice.She would look up to him like an elder brother. “He always said have patience and work harder than you are. I just don’t know whom will I go to discuss things with, now.”
The singer is devastated and says, “I just can’t imagine if I’m feeling this much hurt then how much pain his brothers Sajid bhai and Javed bhai and his mom might be going through? May his soul Rest In Peace. He was a very kind-hearted humble man. He will never be forgotten.”
