20-year-old Mariah Yeater has become an overnight celebrity after she slapped a paternity lawsuit on Canadian singer Justin Bieber recently.
1x1 polls
Bieber, who is just 17, and still the subject of distasteful puberty jokes, has hit headlines since the fact that a barely legal, Jesus-loving, and adolescent-lyric- crooning pop star could impregnate a fan backstage, is both incredulous and delicious gossip at the same time. Yeater, who may have just committed statutory rape by the way, has joined the group of other such moms who have filed paternity lawsuit against prominent Hollywood celebs. Let's take a look at the gallery of the infamous.
Believe it or not, Justin has a predecessor in Charlie Chaplin, who was accused by Joan Barry of fathering a child with her. Also in line is "Matrix" hottie Keanu Reeves, who took a paternity DNA test back in 2009 to prove he wasn't the father on one of Karen Sala's four children. Sala claimed to be Reeve's childhood friend, a fact he vehemently denied. She also asked for support payments amounting to $150,000 and $3million in spousal support payments, though she did not get any dough after the results came as negative. Not so lucky was
Salma Hayek's hubby Francois-Henri Pinault, who was revealed in a paternity suit to have fathered a child with ex-lover and supermodel Evangelista in 2006. What followed was trial where the model demanded $46000 in child support.
Marc Anthony was accused of fathering a child with a Miami waitress. Eddie Murphy denied being the father of Spice Girl Melanie Brown's child until a blood test proved him wrong. A journalist and former actress accused Chris Rock of fathering her son, but a blood test revealed he wasn't the dad. Director Steven Soderbergh and singer Lil Wayne are also on the list of celebs hit with paternity lawsuits. But Bieber's scandalous suit takes the case. Even as we write this, the internet is already ringing with rehashes of Bieber's hit tune, except the "Baby baby oh!" ahs been replaced by "Baby baby no!"
