Priya Saraiya: Working with a singer like Arijit was amazing

Singer Priya Saraiya, is also a lyicist, a feat that not many women have accomplished in the Hindi film music industry.
Priya is best known for Bollywood songs like ‘Sun Sathiya’ (‘ABCD 2’), ‘Gulabi’ (‘Shuddh Desi Romance’), ‘Jaise Mera Ti’ (‘Happy Ending’) and ‘Bezubaan’ (‘Any Body Can Dance’), among others, is excited about her new song.
‘Valam’, from ‘Made In China’, features vocals by Priya and Arijit Singh.The romantic number, has lyrics that are a combination of Gujarati and Hindi.
Sharing her experience of writing the track and recording it, Priya says, “It’s always fun working with Sachin-Jigar. Also, when you know Arijit Singh is going to sing the song, you want to make sure that the lyrics are soulful. The experience of recording with him was amazing. As always, he has done a great job with his singing.”

When asked how this song is different from others that she has rendered so far, Priya says, “It brings out the earthiness with the Gujarati lyrics and also the energy of the music gels well with the vocals and words.”
