Having wooed the listeners in ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and recently in the Bengali series, Aditi Paul is set to mesmerise all with her singing ability yet again in singer-composer Vasuda Sharma's Women’s Day special number.
Alongside Aditi, Shreya Ghosal, Neeti Mohan, Akriti Kakar and Shruti Pathak have also sung for the track. Interestingly, given the song will release on International Women's Day i.e.
March 8, and everyone associated with this song is a woman including the technicians. And the entire team has been featured in the video making this one even more special.
This is the second time Aditi is working with Vasuda. She says, “The song is a beautiful composition by Vasuda. I’ve sung for her before in ‘Ti Ani Itar’, a Marathi film by Govind Nahlani and I really love Vasuda’s understanding and sensibility towards music.
Aditi, who found her musical calling in Santiniketan, West Bengal has worked with music greats like AR Rahman,
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Illayaraja on several films. "I had a great time coming together with all the amazing artistes on this Women’s Day song. It was quite liberating and enlightening at the same time. Also, the very essence of the song touched my soul.” said the bubbly singer.
Not many know that she was one of the most popular participants of ‘Indian Idol Season 1’. Aditi has also been trained under Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. She has worked in films like ‘Rann’, ‘Lingaa’ and ‘Baahubali 2’.
