Rapper Blaaze composes anthem for CSK

Chennai's own rapper extraordinaire Blaaze is kicked about the cricket season. A huge supporter of the Chennai Super Kings team, and Dhoni in particular, the musician is currently excited about the anthem he has made for the Men in Yellow, in addition to the matches themselves.
“Musician Paul Jacob and I have come out with our unofficial anthem for the Chennai Super Kings.We uploaded the song online and it has already topped the Reverbnation charts,” reveals Blaaze on an enthusiastic note. Apart from scoring the music for the special sporting number, both Paul and Blaaze have also lent their voices to it. “It is based on great poet Bharathiyar’s victory chant. It has become quite popular on Youtube,” Blaaze says, “In fact; someone has made a video for it too. It features a foreigner wearing a yellow t shirt and dancing on the streets of Chennai. It capture the essence of the song quite well.” So where did the idea to make the anthem come from, apart from the apparent fact that he is a huge cricket buff? “Well, we wanted to give back to the team, after all the sporting they brought our city. It is dedicated to Dhoni and his men in yellow.”
