Singer-lyricist Priya Saraiya writes a song on Corona

Singer-lyricist, Priya Saraiya, (earlier Panchal), is known for her melodious voice and rendition of songs like ‘Sun Saathiya’ from ‘ABCD 2′ (2015), ”Khoya Khoya’ from ‘Hero’ (2015), ‘Tere Bina’ from ‘Haseena Parker’ (2017) and many other numbers.She is also known for her lyrics in ‘Baat Jo Thi’ from ‘Yeh Dooriyan’ (2011), ‘Saibo’, ‘Karma Is A Bitch’ and ‘Shor Mein Hai Sukoon’ from ‘Shor In The City’ (2011) ‘Piya O Re Piya’ from ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ (2012), ‘Vaalam’ from ‘Made In China’ (2019) and ‘Dua Karo’ from ‘Street Dancer 3D’ (2020), among others.Recently, she wrote a song and urged fans to stay home and stay safe.“This is the time when we need to keep trying to stay away from people. Our parents and grand parents are more vulnerable to the virus. It is possible only if we all follow the guidelines provided by officials. Stay safe and don’t be corona positive,” said Priya.Talking about her song she said, “It goes likes this; ‘Kuchh bhi haasil kar sakte hain, Gar mann mein vishwaas ho, Band darwazein khul sakte hain, Gar karte tum prayaas ho!, Har andhera mita sakte hai, Chahe kaisi bhi raat ho,.Corona door bhaga sakte hai, Milke karein prayaas jo!”Armed with classical vocal training and a training from London’s Trinity College in Western music, Priya’s unadulterated love for pure melody and good music is evident not just in the songs she sings but also in the ones that she writes.
