The film that's based on a true story unveiled its teaser and music in Mumbai recently.

The teaser and music of Rajeev Khandelwal, Soha Ali Khan and Mrinalini Sharma starrer "Soundtrack" was recently released at a Mumbai suburban cineplex.
The film, which is an official remake of the award-winning, cultfilm "It's All Gone Pete Tong", has been directed by debutant Neerav Ghosh, even has stars like Mohan Kapur, Yateen Karyekar and Anurag Kashyap in special roles.
"Soundtrack" is an edgy, modern day portrayal of India's most prolific musician and DJ.

It traces his alcohol, drug and sex fuelled meteoric rise, as he battles his internal demons and a damaging handicap. The album comprises music composed and performed by Midival Punditz and Karsh Kale. The album will also feature a track by Papon and Ankur Tewari.
Neerav said, "Midival Pundtiz and Karsh Kale have recorded a new high energy track with Anushka Manchanda called "What the F". In addition, we have re-created cover versions of two classics, "Ruk Jaana Nahin" and "Yeh Jeevan Hai"."
"With Soundtrack, we were allowed to compose the background score and remix old songs keeping our sensibilities in mind," said Gaurav Raina.
